CallUltra vs Haptik
A Reliance Jio-owned omnichannel customer-experience platform, chat-dominant, with voice as one line among many.
The short version
Haptik is an enterprise CX suite with distribution and compliance credentials a startup cannot buy. It is also a chat company with a voice product, their published channel mix does not break out voice at all, and their public documentation covers text channels only. If your problem is specifically outbound phone calls and you want to evaluate before signing, that asymmetry matters.

Where CallUltra is stronger
You can evaluate us before signing
Haptik’s pricing page publishes no tiers, no units and no prices, only demo-request CTAs. Their developer guides cover text channels: we could find no SIP, number provisioning, call-transfer or call-control API documentation. The one voice page in their docs describes a legacy SDK microphone feature limited to English and Hindi and states voice bots are not supported on iOS. A buyer cannot assess the voice product before signing.
We are a telephony provider; they are not
Haptik’s own architecture material assumes the customer brings the carrier, session border controller and contact-centre stack. CallUltra provisions the number and dials over its own SIP trunk.
Voice is the product, not a line item
Haptik’s last published channel breakdown was roughly 70% web and 17.7% WhatsApp, with no voice category named at all. Engineering attention follows revenue.
Where Haptik is stronger
Procurement readiness a startup cannot buy
Reliance Jio ownership, 500+ enterprise customers, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 across all 93 controls with a CISO-led steering committee, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA and PDPA claims, AES-256 at rest, a 99.9% uptime SLA and an Azure Marketplace listing. CallUltra has zero security certifications, no uptime SLA and no data-residency commitment. In an enterprise security review, Haptik passes and we do not reach the second meeting.
Channel breadth we cannot approach
WhatsApp, RCS, Instagram, Messenger, Web, LINE, Telegram, Teams and mobile SDKs under one contract. If you need voice and RCS and Instagram governed together, there is exactly one option here and it is not us.
Which one should you pick?
Choose Haptik if…
Choose Haptik if you are a large enterprise with an existing contact-centre stack, a multi-channel CX mandate, and a security review that requires certifications and an SLA.
Choose CallUltra if…
Choose CallUltra if your problem is specifically outbound phone calls, and you want to test the product and see the price before signing anything.
Pricing
CallUltra starts at ₹2,999/month with 300 AI minutes included, rising to ₹14,999 for 2,100 minutes and 20-way concurrency. Overage runs from ₹5 down to ₹3.75 a minute depending on tier, and telephony is included in the rate. Minutes are counted only once the callee answers.
Haptik publishes no per-minute voice rate. Their SMB messaging product lists monthly tiers, but enterprise pricing is quote-only. Third-party estimate ranges circulate widely and should not be treated as Haptik’s prices.
Pricing read 24 August 2026. Compare loaded cost rather than headline rate, several vendors in this category exclude telephony, language-model usage or both from the advertised per-minute figure.
Common questions
Does Haptik do outbound voice calling?
Haptik markets voice as part of its CX suite, but its public developer documentation covers text channels and its own architecture material assumes the customer supplies the carrier and contact-centre stack. Ask them directly for a voice-specific demo and reference before assuming parity with a dedicated calling platform.
Is CallUltra ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certified?
No. CallUltra holds no security certifications today and has no uptime SLA. If your procurement requires either, Haptik meets that bar and we do not.
Test both on the same call script
No comparison table substitutes for hearing the agent handle a real conversation in your customers’ language. Run the same script on both platforms before you decide.
